Beth Walsh

Beth Walsh is the seasoned executive of WebPRpro's development, PR and marketing strategy dream team. Before establishing WebPRpro, Walsh co-founded Clearpoint Agency, Inc. with Bonnie Shaw in August 2002, and formerly had been a vice president of account services and public relations for agencies in San Diego and New York, after working for several years in the entertainment and hospitality industries. Utilizing more than 25 years of experience in public relations, marketing, and writing disciplines, she collaborates with Bonnie Shaw on the creation of all PR content as well as templates and questionnaire design for customers of WebPRpro.

Walsh has used her proven consulting experience to help win clients numerous high profile awards and media coverage, earning a well-respected reputation in the industry. As she watched the industry change and grow with the proliferation of Internet capabilities, she and Bonnie Shaw both knew it was time for a new model, and an opportunity for companies of all sizes and operating levels to maximize the global press and search engine marketing opportunities that were emerging. With Walsh's history and well-rounded perspective, she ensures the new processes of WebPRpro draw on the strength and proven success of the traditional ones, while expanding the new.

A natural teacher and mentor, Walsh has taught in the Entrepreneur's Program at UCSD, been a featured speaker in adult education classes at San Diego State University and the Women's Business Center of California, and taught marketing and PR to non-profit organizations and new businesses on both the East and West coasts. Walsh is a member of the National Association of Women Business Owners and former co-chair of its PR committee in San Diego. She has won ten Bernays Awards for excellence in PR from the Public Relations Society of America. In addition, Walsh has twice been named a finalist in the individual service category of the UCSD Athena Pinnacle Awards, twice a finalist in the "Women Who Mean Business Awards," sponsored by the San Diego Business Journal, and was named to Wireless Week's 2001 Top 25 listing of "Influential Women in Wireless."

She and her husband Mark Keeler, a commercial sea captain and novelist, live at the beach in Encinitas, California.
