Bonnie Shaw

Bonnie Shaw is co-founder and a principal designer of WebPRpro. As a successful entrepreneur herself, Shaw understands the opportunities and challenges facing entrepreneurs seeking effective, low cost ways to manage brand and reputation in our digital age. She combines that experience with her degree in journalism and public relations from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo to create PR tools that deliver results. Shaw also collaborates on WebPRpro's education section - WebPRpro University - speaking on webinars, writing educational tools, and contributing to WebPRpro's monthly newsletter and blog.

Before WebPRpro, Shaw co-founded her own PR firm, Clearpoint Agency, Inc. with Beth Walsh in August 2002. With a strategic vision and commitment to quality PR services, Shaw (and partner Walsh) landed numerous high-profile clients including Toshiba, Eddie Bauer, a kick-off gala for the SuperBowl and dozens of technology, professional services and retail clients. She continues to run the respected agency in San Diego.

Now with two successful companies under her belt, Shaw enjoys sharing her knowledge of PR and marketing with other entrepreneurs and executives who are looking for ways to differentiate and create winning PR programs.

Shaw also sits on the Board for the National MS Society, Pacific South Coast Chapter, volunteers for the San Diego Software Industry Council, and the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA). Shaw is a featured speaker on PR and marketing for various non-profit and business organizations, and has received numerous Bernays Mark of Excellence awards from the PRSA for client work from 2000 to 2008. She lives in Carlsbad, California, with her husband, Jim, and their son, Conner.
